Ok guys - I got an xbox 360 controller for the pc because I havn't touched a racing game in years. (My last racer was Metropolis Street Racer for the dreamcast) So it's time to find Bill a game. I've tried Need for Speed, but I also crave destruction.... why isn't Burnout for pc?!? Ok - the mission:

- Newer racing game (Don't want to break out the c64 emulator for this one)
- Some form of destruction. Weapons, explosions, awesome crashes... you know what I mean

Any ideas? I'm just so out of the racing genre loop that I havn't an idea of any pc racers that fit the bill.

-Bill

Yes, of course, Burnout is an amazing game for crashes, wrecking and just general all out fun.

However, for PC you are going to have a lot harder time trying to find racing games that are decent. It is quite funny that you can practically divide the shooters and racing games via media of pleasure...Anyway, back to the games..Other than Need for Speed: Underground 1 and 2, I'd say you are SOL..

If you are into emulation on your PC, then of course check out Gran Turismo 3: A Spec. It should be about $20 new, and $10 used. If you want the newer and better one, GT4, you'd have to drop around $50.

Yeah I have gt3-a for the ps2, and it's a good simulator... but I crave the carnage. Well I see I am pretty much out of luck when it comes to this. Thanx!
