Well after getting fed up with my 750mhz duron workstation I finally decided to build myself a new workstation. I was disappointed however when the XP 2700+ that wasy sitting in the display case was bad and had to be RMAed. I am still waiting for it to come back from RMA. Well I know you guys are all curious to know what is in it so here goes nothing.
1.6ghz Duron (To be replaced with the 2700+ when I get it back from RMA)
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 Motherboard
1GB Crucial PC 2700
eVGA GeForce 4 MX 4000 128mb video card
Maxtor 80gb hard drive (for OS and programs)
6 - Maxtor 250gb hard drive (for storage)
Promise IDE controller card
Liteon 52x32x52x CD-RW
Onboard Sound and Gigabit Network
Yes I do need all the hard drive space. As it is I only have about 20gb of space left. My workstation is also used for storing backups of customers data. Before any system is reloaded, the entire hard drive is backed up to prevent customers from getting mad because they realized that they forgot to backup something important.
I also recently tried overclocking the duron. I was able to get it up to 2.05ghz with stock voltages. I probably could get it higher but I don't feel like killing the processor right now.

yeah my power supply is 550watt.
How did you get 7HDs on your rig. Did you use SCSI or buy extra IDE PCI cards

oh.
Which one did you get, because I'm looking for one. I have 3 CD Drives and a 120GB HD which has 10GB left so I need to get another one. But it won't fit on the IDE chain

I used a Promise controller card that came with my 200gb Western Digital hard drive. I don't know the exact model number
