I have an old CD play from about 4 years ago. Other than the fact that you have to burn  disks at 8x for it to read them, pound on the lid a few times to get it to play (due to sliding down a driveway), and the one side of the headphones being broken off, it works fine. So I've been looking into buying a new CD player but I thought I mideaswell get something worthwhile since I can get any CD player for a few bucks but not with everything I want. So technically I just want it to be able to play the normal burned disks and data disks. If you don't know I mean data disks with like 100+ songs on them and everything.

So my question for you is does anyone out there know of, or would reccomend, a good player that would read those packed disks?

I would guess .wav for a regular cd and .mp3 for all the other stuff.

When you mean "play mp3's" do you want to burn a data cd full of mp3's (which is what I am guessing you want to do) or just burn a music cd with mp3's on it?

Dang I totaly forgot about this topic....

I want to play a data cd with mp3's on it instead of being limited by the 80 minutes or whatever the cd can hold...
