What games do you recommend for the gamecube?

Definately check out Viewtiful Joe. I beleive it is also coming out on the PS2 soon. Very reminiscent of old school 2D side scrolling punch/kick anything in your way types of games. Mario Party games are cool for a mixed crowd, most girls can get into it, and the minigames are entertaining. Just a little slow for my taste. Metroid Prime is basically the showcase game for this system. Pretty to look at, and fun to play, perfect. Legend of Zelda, need I say more?

You like the GCN controller the best? Its a decent controller, better than the XBOX one, but the PS2 one is sweet.

XBOX is best for racing when you have those index finger triggers for brake and gas otherwise it's alright. I just think the controllers are allover bulky. But it's basically a really bulked up ps2 controller without L1-2 and R1-2 and instead it has the black and white view buttons. But the Gamecube one is alright I guess if you're playing mario, zelda, and those games, but when you need buttons on demand it's kind of like learning how to use an N64 for the first time. Basically on Gamecube I seem like I can't find the buttons here and there. But I've been using the playstation controllers for atleast 8 years or so and it's the best out there. Besides isn't it pressure sensitive aswell? That's the best for racing games and all so you have more of a throttle other than tapping the button and whatnot.

I hope
all
the new age controllers are pressure senistive, or they should be. I thought the XBOX was always pressure sensitive, but I'm not sure about the GCN..

Next time you go into a GameStop, or heck a Target if you're by one, just load up Project Gotham Racing or Microsoft Rally and see if it is. If I pass one soon I'll let you know. Hopefully I won't freeze the XBOX this time, how ironic eh?

Always Viewtiful Joe for singleplayer, and if you have a few friends, pick up Smash Bros. and Timesplitters 2. TS2 has an ass of a storyline, but the multiplayer is wicked.

big fan of the TimeSplitters game. I really recommend it! Also, the third one is fairly decent. They took out some of the good parts from TS2 though. I love playing on Mexican (did I get that right? havent played in a while) with all timed mines, 20 minutes, or same map with fire extingishers and flamethrowers on map. I always play with 5 star bosses
off topic...sorry...but I reccomend this for ANY console actually.
