Nintendo sets limit for Wii @ $250

"Nintendo has announced that the price of Wii, its next-generation video game console, will not exceed $250 in the United States or $220 (25,000 yen) in Japan."

That will certainly make people think about their wallets when going to purchase the nex-gen consoles for sure.  I think Nintendo has it's sh*t together, pardon my french.

I think it's awesome that Nintendo remembers that not everyone has $500+ to drop on a console.

I'm not a big fan of the controller on the Wii, though.
