I definitely  afro  this one.  Awesome icon.  lol.  Gonna be one expensive camera with the chip being $200-$300 all on its own.  :/  Breaking the bank?  Yeah I think so.

I just won a digital camera and printer in an instant win game the other day, so i'm uber fired up for it to arrive(6-8 weeks).  I am hoping it'll come since i've never personally owned a digital camera.  In any event, back to my response on this: 8mp camera's will probably be good, I just wish the price for them was, as you already mentioned.  Sad

There are several 8mp cameras currently available.  There are several that are under $500 with most being under $1000
