I am wondering if you will all be upgrading to Windows Vista once its available. I have been considering it for awhile but I dont know all the positives and negatives about upgrading to it. I have liked using Windows XP, so I dont want to upgrade unless its either necessary for something I use or is appealing in another way. Any help would be appreciated.

I seriously doubt I will be upgrading. In fact, I think I will be switching to OSX come the release of Leopard. The 20 inch iMac has caught my eye. I think that will be a better move then XP to Vista.

I think i'll stay with XP. Haven't had any real problems with it as it is and I haven't really heard of anything noticable that would make me want to upgrade.

I agree with these guys. XP is pretty solid, won't upgrade for awhile.

Vista? Well, i'll wait and see. I hear IE7 users are already having problems. Microsoft also released WMP11 yesterday, will wait for those bad reports. Guess in the end those are beta though, will check out the 'final' reviews when Vista is out. As for now, i'm lovin my xp experience.

I'll give WMP11 a run through some time this weekend if I find time to.

I know some people who have been given a beta version of Windows Vista, and they said its really good. A lot of people are b*tching about how it steals a lot from apple, but f*ck that. Theyre nice features. If nothing was stolen, you wouldnt have a mouse.
edit: didnt know there was a no profanity rule. New, and I never read rules
