Help! I want to underclock my CPU. Yes you hear right! I got my CELERON M 1.60 GHz 192 MB RAM notebook as a gift. Upon studying for my A+ I have learned when I checked out the current speed of my CPU, I have a speed of 1.65ghz and that voids any warranty. Even though the margin is not too much, I still want to underclock it back to it’s normal speed.

Tell me underclocking it is easier and what do I have to do?

What brand and model laptop do you have?  I highly doubt that your processor running at 1.65ghz would void the warrantee if that is the way it came.  It is fairly common for the processor speed to flucuate a little.  Usually in most cases, you can't overclock or underclock pre-built systems without flashing the bios (with bios from somewhere else other than the manufacturer) or modifying the motherboard which I am sure would definatly void your warrantee.
