Shocked  Hi all, I am going the way of intel for now and here is my question.
Is it better to get a p4 3.2e with 2mb of cache Or a p4 3.4e with 1mb of cache?
I would mostly be doing gamming on this. thanks Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

I would probably say go with the 3.2E with 2mb of cache.  In most cases the more cache you have, the higher proformance you will recieve.

yep - the speed is a little secondary considering how the 3.2 is double the cache, and only 200mhz slower.

With extra cache comes extra latency, at least in Intel's case.

If you are getting a primarily gaming oriented computer, and I cannot stress this enough enough, AMD is the best for your money.   Nothing in intel's stock, except maybe the Pentium M, can beat its direct competitor in games, and in many cases, content creation.
