It is about time that there is a 64-bit version of windows xp.  Much of the 64-bit support has been delayed due to the lack of a 64-bit version of windows and now hopefully we will see a lot more applications that will be able to take advantage of 64-bit.  I know that there have been 64-bit distros of linux but when most of the world uses Windows, the tech industry kinda depends a lot on Microsoft to create an os to support new technologies (scary thought isn't it)...

What is the main differences between 64 bit windows and 32 bit windows operating system?

Do you have any idea?
