I would like to take the CD-Key that is attached to a dell computer to a new case (or at least to some documentation).  The mobo in the dell died and is being replaced, but also being relocated into a new case along with the new mobo and processor.

Any ideas?

Unfortunatly their really isn't a good way to remove those stickers since they are perferated.  All you can really do is take a razor or something of the sort and carefully try to remove it.

Hot blow drier has worked for me in the past.  Let it blow on the sticker for 15-20mins and the sticky stuff is soft enough that the key will come right off.  Throw it on your new case while the sticky stuff is still hot though

O yeah.  I forgot all about that trick.  It actually does work quite while and if worst comes to worst all you have to do is use tape to hold the sticker on the case.
