im not sure if i should drop it or not, i wanna coninue but i cant dl slack ware cuz i have dial up so i will be posponed unill i get it.

If you want, you could download a copy of Slackware over dial-up with a .torrent. That way you could pause and download the file. I've downloaded many large files over dial-up that way.

Yeah that is always the best thing to do if you have friends that will do that for you. However, I know that most download managers have a scheduler that you can set and have it automatically connect and disconnect at a certain time. That is how I always used to download stuff when I still had dialup several years ago.
