Just a suggestion but I think we need a networking forum or section on here. Otherwise it's kinda hard to just post networking issues, concerns, etc. in just a general forum.

hmm how did you know that I was considering making a networking topic on these forums.  I was actually going to create it right after I finished reading all the posts  Tongue   I have been doing a lot of networking work lately (both home and for clients).  Unless anyone has any serious objections I am going to create one right now.

You thing you have networking problems?  You have nothing compared to the headache I had to deal with the other day at the hospital.  It probably wouldn't have been so bad but the onsite "IT" guy ended up unplugging all the damn network cables from the switches which were plugged in in a strategic fashion and ended up majorly messing up the 3 servers.  Another guy and me spent 10 hours trying to get the servers back up and running without losing any data and plugging all the cables back into the switches in the same strategic fashion they were plugged into before.  I also had to replace one of the switches because it had gone bad and was probably what was causing most of the problems before hand.

Yeah it did suck.  I don't know who would give him an IT certification.  I don't even know if he had an IT certification of any sort...
