Why do YOU continue to use windows?

I use it because of gaming and programs (not that a large host of them [or ones that ar e like them] aren't available on the linux platform)

Mainly for gaming and the program support.  It would be nice if more program and game publishers would release linux compatible installers for their products.

hmm you use windows because of networking techy?  What kind of networking stuff can Windows do that Linux can't?  Sorry if I sound harsh but I am curious as to why you said networking...

Well actually my windows network sucks. I'd probably go Linux but there's a family computer on the other side of the network and I didn't know if I could have a network with both of those and still be able to share files etc. Besides, next reformat I'm putting slack 10 and xp home on here to give it a shot regardless...

Yeah you can still share folders and access shared folders across the network with Linux.  To share files on the linux box all you have to do is install and configure Samba.

And it is normally configured automatically.

I use it for coding Windows applications. There is a lot of money to be had in the Windows field of bussiness.
