The clock on the taskbar seems to be acting up lately. It will periodically go back an hour and things like that. A few days ago it went back to March... Is it the clock on the motherboard failing or something like that? And how can I check?

The CMOS battery is probably dying.  The only way you could really check this is to replace the battery.  It could also be a problem with the motherboard but I would check the battery first.

That is highly unlikly.  I suppose it is a possibility but I have never seen it happen.  When the system clock starts messing up it usually has something to do with the CMOS battery.

Nothing really lately, I'll check again soon and tell you if I find anything though. I usually run Ad-aware, and Spybot bi-weekly and AVG about weekly aswell.

If you are on the internet a lot it is usually a good idea to run ad-aware and spybot at least once a week.
