I have had one for awhile but am glad to see that Microsoft finally is offering them to the general public.

I wish I had one of those when I had to download SP2 on dial-up.

Well, as cool as that is - I find that if you are doing this in a work environment, you might as well just do the winupdate online version. I have found that isntalling sp2 on some machines can do weird things, but installing sp1 updates, then sp2, then updating it the rest of the way solves these problems. OTherwise, I was having alot of unknown devices on some dell gx270s I was working with. The 280s weren't any better! For home though, that's pretty cool - but if you have the high-speed internet, I would reccomend the online winupdate method.

I ordered multiple cds when they were still free and I recieved all of them.  Kinda sucks that Microsoft started charging shipping though.

They now charge shipping?  That's pretty lame.  I guess too many people took advantage of the great service.

Arg, seems like it would just be a better idea to ask a friend to dowload the service pack 2 for you and burn it on CD if you don't want to use your Internet bandwidth  evil

This will be a good collection to the binder of CD's I carry around with me.  I never can seem to find the one I burnt.  it always vanishes.

I might actually get a few with SP2, but I wish they had more than just Professional to pick from.  I could burn it, or download it each time...but what a pain!  Tongue
