I saw before where there is a distro of linux or something that you can install on this router that will add features.  Anyone know what i'm talking about?

I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it to try, how hard it is to install, and what features does it add.

There isn't a distro but there is third party software.  I have the same router as you and use the Sveasoft firmware.  It is 20 bucks and in my opinion not worth it.  The bandwidth managment isn't that great (which is the main reason that I got it).

More info can be found at http://www.sveasoft.com/modules/phpBB2/index.php
