http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...hpf3#checkstore

This is in the ads this week and I don't personally need it.  I have a Linksys wrt54g.  Although, I have a client who wants me to run a 100 ft crossover cable from 1 pc to the second.  (They only have the 2 computers).  Right now there isn't a broadband internet connection but there is talk of one in the future.  The second computer is a laptop that if I talked them into this situation would have a wireless pcmcia slot installed on it.  But I see mixed reviews (some good some bad).  Anyone here personally use it or know of another decent one (that's under 25 bucks)?

I haven't had any experiences with the belkin routers but I haven't heard the greatest things about them.

As far as I know, Belkin is one of those companies in the middle. They don't make the best stuff, yet they don't make stuff that makes you want to kill yourself either. Their wireless cards seem to be good enough.

Yeah I know kinda old topic but I got a reply.. Tongue
Just play it safe and go with Linksys. They're routers are considerably cheaper now and some places have the rebates offered to take another $10 off here and there. I just got an 802.11b Router and 2 usb network adapters and couldn't be happier with them...
