Enter The Matrix

I just got Enter The Matrix the DVD-ROM edition because I love The Matrix, and I wanted to play the game. Anyway, I get to the third level, and right as I am about to go up a set of stairs and save my game, I get the most annoying error ever made. "matrix.exe has encountered an error" So then the game dies, and I can't save my progress. I was using cheat codes at the time, so I thought that might have had something to do with it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Okay, I ended up finding update number 152 for it. I downloaded it, installed it, and now whenever I put the the DVD-ROM into my combo drive, it tells me to please insert the Enter the Matrix disc. I think the fact that I bought the DVD-ROM is the issue.

do you have an emulation programs installed. some times cds wont boot because of this feature.

Nope, no emulation or anything. I am running Windows XP, and I just stick it in the DVD-ROM tray. It works without the update, but then I can't use cheats. If I use the update then I can't even play the game.
