OK....Here is my problem.  I don't have alot of room in my closet.  Maybe I can post a pic soon (I dont feel like getting my camera out right now).  Anyway, I have acquired some tools (Soldering Iron, Screw Drivers, Pin Extractors, etc...).   I would like to be able to make a case that I can carry all of these items in.  The thing I kinda have in mind is like one of the cases you see in movies that usually carry a gun.

They have padding that has cut outs where the gun just sits inside and doesn't move.  I would like to do the same thing to hold my screw drivers, soldering iron, dremel, etc..  Anyone have any ideas on how this can be done?  I also want to make a second one that I can use to bring to houses when I go to look at their computers.  One that will house a few CD's (Knoppix, boot disks, etc..), some cables, etc..

You could get a metal poker chip case. Those are kind of what your looking for. Then you could buy some foam at home depot and cut it to your liking.

It's actually a really good case, the only problem is getting a nice case that will fit your stuff, have some extra room, etc.
If I were doing this I'd get a gun case or a metal one that looks pretty sweet looking.

Though the handle on that one could be better you get the idea. After that I'd go out and do what waxon said and get some foam and slowly cut it away unti your stuff fit in it. Though I'd probably look for some heavy duty stuff not some cheap stuff that'll flex once you put a cd on it.

My explination is kind of vauge but that's the way I'd do it and what I think would work from seeing what the gun cases use and all.

A laptop in the middle and cords etc around it would be nice. I don't think you can get a case that big. You'd need a rolling suitcase or something lol. That or you could get one of those straps to put on your back and carry your case around. That or get a fragbox or something Tongue
