I don't think Kerry has anything going for him. I don't mean that people who want the democratic platform won't vote for him, but he himself... there's nothing there.
I am voting kerry because  the fact that I simply want bush out of the office. My first choice was Edwards. But he got nocked down. But luckly hes on the kerry ticket so thats better then nothin.

(Not in any particular order)

1.)He is a strong Christian. That may not be important to some people, but it is to me. It means he wants to put a ban on gay marriages, and a ban on abortions, both of which I support.

2.)I believe the conservative economy plan works, it just takes time. If you let Reagen stay in for 12 or 16 years you would see a massive jump in a good way. But you did see it didn't you? Bush Sr. continued the plan, and Clinton did nothing and runs away with the credit.

3.)He has a strong cabinet, knowledgable in many fields. He has Colon Powell (though he may retire) and others who have been in wars and know what to do. (Unlike the Johnson administration during Vietnam)

4.)I believe that going after Saddam was the right thing to do. Bush has said if before, if he had the choice of leaving the country of to a madman, or taking him out, he would defend the country everytime. Saddam was a terrorist, and this is a war against terror. The war may seem sudden, but do you expect the leaky congress to sit around and talk for months and give Iraq the chance to prepare? I hope not.

I find the biggest problem of why people don't like Bush is they are not Christian. If you aren't a Christian you wouldn't know why being gay is such a horrible thing, and the same for abortions. If you aren't a Christian, (and with so many muslims and others coming in daily) it seems that you can't understand some aspects as well as a Christian could. Not to say that not being a Christian makes you a bad person or anything. The truth is, this country was built on Christianity. Its hard to find a document when America was first started without religion, or the congressmen praying over stuff before they voted. You know what made America great? The way it was before.

His views don't change with the rise and fall of the sun. He believes that abortion and gay marriages is wrong, and he sticks to it. Kerry says he would do the same stuff Bush is doing only better when it comes to the war, only better but his congress record would prove otherwise. He has also said that he personally disapproves of abortions, but yet again his congress record is against him. He tries to please everyone. Bush has a plan and sticks to it. That is what America needs right now.
